Walk through history of Lebanon from prehistoric to modern times. Audio descriptions by famous residents introduce visitors to the periods on display and take advantage of the touch-screen computers for your own research.

In a joint effort with Cumberland University, special group tours will be held each Sunday between July 15 and October 7. Tours will be held from 1:00pm to 4:00am and admission is FREE, although donations are appreciated.

During the Mississippian Period of Native American habitation in Tennessee, the Cumberland River Valley became the site of a cluster of fortified towns. One such town is now known as Sellars Farm inhabited from 1000 AD to 1300 AD. At Sellars Farm, a walking tour of the site takes you through the area while learning about the inhabitants. An interpretive kiosk marks the beginning of the tour. For group tour reservation information, please call Long Hunter State Park at

Long Hunter State Park is just south of Mt.Juliet and situated on J. Percy Priest Lake. The Park features boating, sailing, fishing, hiking, picnicing, and camping. Angelers cast for large and small mouth bass, rockfish, stripe, bream and catfish.
